I am hoping to find some sort of web based solution allowing users to post and download files. I would prefer it to be open source and run on apache. I am hoping to find some sort of " points" system, in which users can only download a file after they have contributed a file. I-web software program glitchy?
Does anyone here use I web I have a website and blog and sometimes I experience a slowness and glitchiness and wonder if it is to do with text boxes or imported images? or links? Is there a way to combat this. Sorry I am not overall computer savvy just learning as I go along but in photoshop it automatically saves my files in a compact way Once it is published should I try to reduce the complete file size on my computer? Is There Any Free Web Software That Is Visually Easier Than Dreamweaver?
Dreamweaver might be great. But even when I went through several tutorials, I still feel like I'm ready to pull my hair out It's just way to complicated. It's like physics. I'm not visually impaired. In fact, I'm a very good artist. The issue I'm having is that I'm completely illiterate when it comes to computer languages which there's a lot of that in Dreamweaver . The reason why I'm refusing to use free web building sites is that most of them have terms and regulations against certain contents and I need a little freedom from at least most of it. Can someone please help me before I go completely insane?
