Custom pc components for myth tv setup?
hi, i need some help building a custom pc for a home media setup...could someone suggest a motherboard that has plents of PCI slots, which is small? so i can put it into a smaller case?also, which tv card and radeon graphics card should i use for it? to be full hd? i just need a cheap pc, iv never seen a motherboard smaller than a standard one, that would run mythbuntu for a tv, thats also not expensive... thanks

Which one of my pc components is fried and can i fix it myself?
I've bought some hardware from best buy, new gtx 550 ti 1gb by pny core clocked at 900, and a new power supply 430w. I read around and heard it can be overclocked to a little under 1500. So I tried overclocking using nvidia tools, that fur gpu stress test program and the monitoring system included with said program. I gradually increased core clock in intervals of 5, checked the test program, no artifacts so kept going until in the 1000 mark until boom display goes out for 2 seconds or so and comes back up with some errors. Startled I reset back to factory clocks and later restarted my computer and went to bed because it was late. Today I enter my password and it starts fine but then display suddenly freezes, restarts itself and opens cmos settings. If I ignore and continue to start my comp normally the display will freeze upon loading again but then nothing happens. I can only start in safe mode. Don't know how to fix this myself. Tried swapping gpu's, and power supply, same problem.Please help.Edit Like I said I've swapped the new card back to my old one and same with my power supply, I think its my cpu thats being funky. How can I determine exactly what is happening in my computer when my whole system locks up and becomes completely unresponsive in normal mode?
