Are the generic 7 inch notebook computers for $100 or less any good?
This is my budget for a computer. I don't need to do a lot, just some typing and websurfing. I heard I could do that with one of these computers. The problem is the lack of a name attached to these computers. I wanted to try to research the company but can't because I can't find the name. Yeah, for $100 I'm not expecting much, but at least the thing should work. And if it comes with a 7 day return policy, I want to know where to send the thing. Yeah, I know I'll find a name after I buy the thing, but I want the name first so I check reviews of the company's products online.
Why do notebook computers breakdown so easy?
I never have problems with my desktop. Notebook computers i've owned over the past 3 5 years though have been nothing but problems. Some came DOA others died after the fact and keyboards flex and bulge is horrible on pc notebooks. Such a myriad of problems My macbook pro 2011 is supposedly one of the best in terms of longevity and durability and that's died on me twice since i got got just less than 2 months ago.Laptop Repair, those are older laptops, older than 5 years old. I have had good experiences with laptops like that. Its the ones made in the past 4 years that have given me problems.
Who makes the best notebook computers?
I'm on a quest to find the best notebook computer out there. I am using a wonderful, yet ageing Toshiba Satellite Duo Core computer. It has high quality and little extras biometric reader, media keys, backlit keyboard, etc . Plus, the Atheros WiFi card has surpassed everything I've tried except the Apple MacBook Pro.In the past two months, I've tried HP i5 Hotkeys didn't workLenova i5 SLOW internet speedsToshiba i5 Poor graphics and SLOW internet SpeedsApple MacBook i5 Outstanding quality, but missing a few important keysAsus i7 Beautiful design, but has a crappy keyboard, poor backlighting, not that fast.So, I wonder if there's an excellent PC based notebook that rivals or exceeds the quality of an Apple. I'm tempted to try an Alienware or MSI computer because I have to admit that I like the backlit keyboard gimmick.
