I was searching on google than a blue screen popped up and it said somthing like its shutting off to protect my computer. Now everything is slow. What was it?
My laptop keeps freezing?
My laptop has been freezing often. Today, it froze twice. I accidentally took a nap and it was just frozen when I woke up.The other time I was browsing through my folders on Windows Explorer and it just froze.Also, my laptop was kept freezing on the screensaver, too. So I disabled the screensaver.Sometimes, when it freezes, its makes this incessant churning noise like " bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" Does anyone know why my laptop keeps freezing randomly?Btw, I don't think I have a virus or anything if that has anything to do with it because I have the high security anti virus thing.SoWhy does my laptop keep freezing?And How can I stop this?Oh yeah, I've only had my HP laptop for about a year and a half.any help is appreciated thanks Ew thats gross. My laptop's audio is not working..?
I have a Windows 7 laptop and it was working just fine, when all of a sudden my audio stopped working and the little audio button in the corner had a red x on it saying " no speakers or headphones are plugged in" . I tried doing the thing where you to to the control panel and hit the sound manager thingy, but it says " no audio devices installed" and when i go to control panel and manage audio devices it says my ATI HDMI output is unplugged. PLEASE HELP i tried putting in headphones, no difference, idk what else to do...OMG LEON I FREAKING LOVE YOU, IT WORKS

Why purchase a desktop computer? Doesn't today's laptops have the capabilities replacing a desktop?

How can I "clone" a laptop onto a desktop?
I recently got a new laptop for Christmas it's an Acer if that makes any difference at all , and I also have a desktop, which is still on windows xp and a pretty old version at that and everything. So, I'd like to know if it's possible to copy the OS form my laptop onto my desktop.
My laptop freezez, help!?
Once I start my laptop, the screen freezez. If I run it in safe modus, it won't freeze. It started after I installed Allods Online, a MMORPG game, which I had on my previous computer. Nothing happend on my previous computer, and my new one is even better at all bases RAM, Game graphics etc... . I have uninstalled Allods Online, all it's data and patches. When I installed it, it installed something called " overwolf" , which didn't get installed on my previous computer when I installed the game. When I try to uninstall it, it says " Can't access Windows Installer" . I think it's because I run it in safe mode, but I can't uninstall it as for when I start the laptop normaly, it freezez. However it may not be the problem, but just some information. Please help.

Why wont my laptop screen turn on?
When I tried to turn on my hp pavilion laptop, the lights turn on and the comp makes 4 loud beeping noises...also my power button blinks on and off continuously. I've tried taking the battery out, but still, nothing. What should I do? And what does this mean?
Laptop screen brightness?
I have a Dell Inspiron 1318. A lot of the times, I can't adjust the screen brightness using the FN and arrow keys . I use the keys and nothing happens. But the weird thing is that when I plug my charger in, the screen brightness increases and the brightness decreases when I take the charger out so it's not that the brightness isn't working, it's that the keys aren't responding.The brightness usually works fine but then once every few days, it stops working, and the only way to fix it is to restart my laptop.Is there a way I can fix this? I know that I can always get it fixed but I don't want to ever take my laptop to the Dell repairers again because I'm fed up with them.
