My computer desktop was coverd with white screen without wallpaper visible?
to me and when i switch on to internet the white is filled with news updates of msn. plzz help to remove and my desktop should be clean
Why purchase a desktop computer? Doesn't today's laptops have the capabilities replacing a desktop?
Or is it a matter of preference?
On the desktop my background is not visible another something blanklayer is formed?

XP desktop not booting up?
Having problems with a non booting windows XP desktop, had a power failure while my desktop was on & it cut off after power came back on & i went to turn on my PC it would not boot up it just says System time not set & this CMOS checksum bad.. I am at a loss as to how this happened & how to fix it... please help... i have tried pressing F4 to run the set up to set the system time that did not help any

Cant fix my misaligned desktop screen?
my desktop screen is cut off about 1 4 of the way to the left and i've tried adjusting the horizontal offset but it doesnt reach all the way over. and this has started happening a few weeks ago very rarely and usually i would have to press auto configuration a couple times and it would go back but this time ive done all the above and pressed the auto button over 50 times and still nothing, ive restarted my computer, unplugged my monitor and everything. ughhh what can i do this is so frustrating
Desktop connected to Router and is not connecting to internet..Help?!?!?
Belkin Router is working fine.Laptops can connect to the internet. One desktop can but the 1 connected to the router originally is not connecting...I tried putting in the CD but that didn't work...Resetting the router and modem..still nothingany suggestions..I don't need a wireless adapter because its connected to the router and it was working fine before desktops recovery from " black screen of death"
