Used computer store owner won't include version of Windows on labels describing computers for sale?
.....for fear of the Microsoft police. Everything else is described, like CPU, memory, hard drive, DVD, etc...., but the only way to know the OS is to check the COA label. I work in this store and find it very tiresome to repeatedly go over which computers have which version of Windows, and I can tell that some customers just leave because they can't navigate all the other variables without knowing whether something has no OS, 2000, or XP. Which should he be more afraid of, the M$ police, or losing customers due to keeping the OS relatively hidden?
